Puzzle Prison

University Game Project (2010)

During my second year at University of Salford I was purposely grouped with a dysfunctional team to work on a prison break-out puzzle game for the PC and Xbox 360 using the Unreal 3 Engine. Our aim was to make the whole game desaturated, only colouring selected elements such as puzzle pieces, intractable objects, points of interest, key characters... and most importantly, the chance of freedom!

As I was given the role of Lead Artist (for the first time), I had to manage two other artists while coordinating with our two programmers and the level designer. While this may have been a very challenging group to work with in terms of both skill set and attendance, the art department made a clear demonstration of the art style to prototype standard.
