With one other student, I was selected to represent Salford University to create an environment for a commercial client called Human Recognition Systems (www.hrsid.com). The client required a fully interactive 3d environment, made in the Unreal 3 Engine, to demonstrate new security products at work in a desert military-base setting. Due to the nature of the project and high profile of their client, we worked under strict N.D.A. from the project's inception.
Whilst simultaneously working on our degree assignments, we were able to meet all deadlines, with the project spanning only about 3 months. I was responsible for all 3d modelling and some of the level scripting. The client was regularly updated by email as well as meetings every two weeks at their main office in Liverpool. Regular visits helped us to test and finely tailor the product to the client and on completion, we presented the demonstration to all senior staff members.
